Water Charges, levied for individual house connection with fixed ferrule size of 10 mm, is, at present Rs. 30/- household pr moth, part from one time house connection charges of Rs. 1,500/-. The strategy "Go to the People" followed by KMW&SA for revenue collection is unique in nature by organizing collection camp through its staff in each FAWS Scheme at a specified venue and at a fixed date and time each month. In the camp, operating engineering personnel and accounting people are present and grievances / problems of the individual consumers are noted and steps of redresses of the same are taken in a phase-wise time bound manner. By providing such interaction section, it has been observed that confidence level among the beneficiaries has vastly been improved and thereby revenue collection has largely increased. At present, round 80-85% revenue collection has been achieved by following this model.

At present, KMW&SA provides individual house connections to around 70,000 household in the urban fringes of the afore noted districts.
